The Cowboys won a wild game Sunday night against the Giants, but they also suffered a significant loss in the process. Star receiver Dez Bryant broke a bone in his right foot and will require surgery. He is expected to be out 4-6 weeks.

This is a tough loss for Fantasy owners, who drafted Bryant as a No. 1 receiver. He was the third receiver selected in the majority of leagues at No. 13 overall, according to Average Draft Position on CBS Sports, and it's hard to replace a player of his caliber. He has averaged 91 catches, 1,311 yards and 14 touchdowns the past three seasons, and you can't find that kind of talent on the waiver wire.

Hopefully, the owners who drafted Bryant have quality receivers on the bench, but it's not that easy in competitive 12-team leagues or deeper formats. You'll need to go searching for options on the waiver wire.

Based on Sunday's performance, some receivers available for you include: Steve Johnson (39 percent ownership on CBS Sports), James Jones (36 percent), Brandon Coleman (32 percent), Phillip Dorsett (22 percent), Donte Moncrief (16 percent) and Nate Washington (3 percent). You can also look at Terrance Williams (77 percent) if he's available since he's now the new No. 1 receiver for the Cowboys, but more on him in a bit.

Johnson and Coleman scored in Week 1 for the Chargers and Saints, respectively, and will be significant contributors with good quarterbacks in Philip Rivers and Drew Brees. Jones, in his return to the Packers following a year absence, picked up his rapport with Aaron Rodgers and scored twice against the Bears on Sunday.

The Colts are dealing with an injury of their own in T.Y. Hilton (knee), although the length of his absence isn't known. But while he's out, Dorsett and Moncrief should see increased playing time, and Moncrief scored in Week 1 against the Bills. Dorsett has the higher ceiling, but Moncrief will still be heavily involved.

Washington had six catches for 105 yards against the Chiefs, but he's a gamble as the No. 3 receiver for the Texans. Until we know more about Hilton's injury, the two receivers to target here are Johnson and Jones, and we'll cover this topic further in Tuesday's Playing the Waiver Wire.

In Dallas, the Cowboys are left with Williams, Cole Beasley, Jason Witten, Gavin Escobar and Lance Dunbar to pick up the slack and help Tony Romo until Bryant returns. Williams and Witten are the only reliable Fantasy options in this receiving corps with Bryant out, and Williams had five catches for 60 yards against the Giants, with Witten getting eight catches for 60 yards and two touchdowns.

If you can still add Williams off waivers then do so, and he should be considered a borderline No. 2 Fantasy receiver until Bryant is healthy. In deep PPR leagues, Beasley could be a potential No. 3 Fantasy receiver, but he won't provide consistent production. Witten should continue to be a reliable Fantasy tight end, and his performance in Week 1 was encouraging.

As for Romo, this injury severely impacts his Fantasy value, especially heading into Week 2 against the Eagles. He'll be a borderline starting option at best, but we'll see if he can still manage at least 20 Fantasy points a game with Bryant out. On Sunday night, Romo passed for 356 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions, including a frantic comeback with Bryant off the field.

The Cowboys could also become more reliant on their running game, which could help Joseph Randle and Darren McFadden. Against the Giants, Randle was the more effective runner with 107 total yards compared to 35 for McFadden.

We hope Bryant can return on the four-week timetable, and Fantasy owners need to remain patient. When healthy, Bryant is among the best Fantasy receivers in any format, so hopefully he'll be back on the field for Week 5 against New England.
