Major League Baseball has released its list of top 20 jersey sales for the 2011 calendar year. Not suprisingly, Derek Jeter sits atop the list, coming in the year when he garnered his 3,000th career hit.

Here's the full top 20, courtesy of MLB PR:

1. Derek Jeter, Yankees

2. Cliff Lee, Phillies

3. Albert Pujols, Angels/Cardinals

4. Josh Hamilton, Rangers

5. Roy Halladay, Phillies

6. Tim Lincecum, Giants

7. Dustin Pedroia, Red Sox

8. Ryan Braun, Brewers

9. Hunter Pence, Phillies/Astros

10. Buster Posey, Giants

11. Chase Utley, Phillies

12. Joe Mauer, Twins

13. Justin Verlander, Tigers

14. Adrian Gonzalez, Red Sox

15. Alex Rodriguez, Yankees

16. Ian Kinsler, Rangers

17. Robinson Cano, Yankees

18. Mariano Rivera, Yankees

19. Carl Crawford, Red Sox

20. David Freese, Cardinals

Pujols and Pence sales include jerseys from both teams they were part of during last year (the entire year, not just the season, so Pujols' Angels jerseys sold in December count). Crawford might seem a bit surprising, but remember, this is for the 2011 calendar year. It's possible -- I'd guess likely -- his sales surged before the start of last season. Otherwise there aren't really any suprises.
