Throughout the 2016 football season, various teams have taken turns honoring former Nebraska punter Sam Foltz, who died in a car accident over the summer.

Ohio State is the latest team to show the Cornhuskers that there are broader things than football at play. Per ESPN's Jeannine Edwards, Buckeyes punter Cameron Johnston will present Foltz's family with an Ohio State helmet featuring 27 decals, symbolizing Foltz's No. 27 jersey, before the 8 p.m. ET kickoff against Nebraska.

Last month, Illinois and Purdue players presented their Nebraska counterparts with custom No. 27 jerseys before the games. Foltz, along with former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler, was killed in a car accident in late July. LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye was also injured in the wreck.
