The Saturday Meal Plan fills you in on what to watch, when to watch and where to watch every Saturday during the college football season.

Last week we saw three matchups involving teams ranked in the top 13 of the BCS standings. This week, well, not so much.

What stinks about this week is that the two matchups that both feature teams in the BCS top 25 are being played at the same time. However, there are still a couple other interesting and important games spread throughout the day.

So while the overall schedule may lack true headliners, there could be quite a few good undercard bouts.

BREAKFAST

No. 3 Ohio State at Illinois -- ESPN, Noon (All times Eastern)

Ohio State not only needs to keep winning, but it needs to keep winning in impressive fashion to sway voters. Illinois presents the opportunity to keep on winning, that's for sure. I just don't know how impressed anybody will be by it.

Iowa State at No. 18 Oklahoma -- Fox Sports 1, Noon

This game wouldn't have been all that interesting had Oklahoma managed to beat Baylor last week, but now that the Sooners got blown out in that game, it's even less.

Indiana at No. 22 Wisconsin -- ESPN2, Noon

Something to consider when figuring out whether you should watch this game. In the last three meetings between these two teams Wisconsin has averaged 68 points per game, with its lowest tally being 59. The highest was 83. So if you've always wanted to see a team reach the century mark in a football game, this is the one you should pay attention to.

Troy at Ole Miss -- ESPNU, Noon

See, it's great early in the season when the SEC is playing conference games right off the bat, but that leads to these games in November. It's a delicate balance, folks.

Cincinnati at Rutgers -- ESPNNews, Noon

I feel like it's a good thing for Cincinnati that the Bearcats find themselves at 7-2 and nobody seems to care. Even if it is Tommy Tuberville's first season on campus, Cincinnati with a 7-2 record just doesn't surprise anybody.

Purdue at Penn State -- BTN, Noon

I saw a commercial on BTN promoting this game as a battle of two true freshmen signal callers. So if you're into young quarterbacks making mistakes, this is obviously the game for you.

LUNCH

Syracuse at No. 2 Florida State -- ABC/ESPN2, 3:30 p.m.

Let's be real. The only interesting thing about this game will be what they say about that whole Jameis Winston investigation.

No. 25 Georgia at No. 7 Auburn -- CBS, 3:30 p.m.

Auburn could be the biggest obstacle currently standing between Alabama and another title game. But the Tigers probably shouldn't look past Georgia this week. I know the Bulldogs have had their troubles this year, but I have a feeling this one could be very interesting and very high-scoring.

No. 12 Oklahoma State at No. 24 Texas -- Fox, 3:30 p.m.

It feels like every week there's another elimination game in the Big 12, so kudos to whoever put this schedule together. Though, technically, if Texas loses this game it does still control its own destiny since beating Baylor would give it the tiebreaker anyway, but shut up. This game is still pretty important. It's just slightly more important for Oklahoma State.

No. 16 Michigan State at Nebraska -- ABC/ESPN2, 3:30 p.m.

Speaking of conference title races, the winner of this game is probably your 2013 Big Ten Legends Division champion. Unless something really stupid happens afterward, and let's remember that this is the Big Ten we're talking about, so something really stupid probably will happen.

No. 23 Miami at Duke -- ESPNU, 3:30 p.m.

Duke is 7-2 and in control of its own destiny in the ACC's Coastal Division, yet, odds are you haven't seen the Blue Devils take a single snap this season. Well, if there was a game where you should start paying attention, this would be the one.

Michigan at Northwestern -- BTN, 3:30 p.m.

I'm not sure these two teams playing an actual game would be as beneficial to both sides as just getting together at midfield and hugging would be. Because both of these teams could use some hugs.

Utah at No. 6 Oregon -- Fox Sports 1, 4 p.m.

How will Oregon rebound from its loss to Stanford last week? Probably by beating up on poor Utah because, unlike Oregon, Utah actually beat Stanford.

DINNER

Texas Tech at No. 5 Baylor -- Fox, 7 p.m.

Texas Tech has lost three straight games, allowing an average of 46.3 points per game in the process. Now it gets to play a Baylor team that's averaging 61 points per game this year. Should be a good time.

Florida at No. 10 South Carolina -- ESPN2, 7 p.m.

People think I'm being a smartass when I say this, but no matter what happens in this game, my sincere wish is just to see Florida get through it without losing another player for the season. The Gators have had enough injuries this year, all right?

Houston at No. 20 Louisville -- ESPNU, 7 p.m.

Had Houston been able to beat UCF last week then this game would have been very interesting. As it currently sits, it's still interesting simply because it might be the most competitive game taking place at this time, but it just doesn't mean as much as it could have.

No. 1 Alabama at Mississippi State -- ESPN, 7:45 p.m.

Alabama hasn't had any trouble what-so-ever with Mississippi State in recent seasons, and I don't expect that trend to change on Saturday night.

No. 4 Stanford at Southern California -- ABC, 8 p.m.

I think this game could prove to be pretty interesting, with a good chance of an upset. Stanford certainly runs the risk of suffering a letdown after last week's win over Oregon, and USC has played very well in the Pac-12 since firing Lane Kiffin. Plus, if the Trojans win this game, they're very much alive for a berth in the Pac-12 Championship.

Oregon State at No. 19 Arizona State -- Pac-12 Network, 9:30 p.m.

There's a chance this could be entertaining, though Oregon State has been pretty disappointing against ranked competition this season, so I wouldn't count on it.

LATE NIGHT SNACKS

Wyoming at Boise State -- ESPN2, 10:15 p.m.

We've got us a late-night Mountain West Extravaganza on Saturday night, starting with a Boise State team that still has the inside track on getting a berth in the MWC championship.

San Diego State at Hawaii -- CBS Sports Network, 10:30 p.m.

While it needs help from others, San Diego State is still alive for a Mountain West title shot as well, but to do so it'll have to get past a Hawaii team that's desperate for its first win of the season and is quickly running out of chances.

San Jose State at Nevada -- ESPNU, 10:30 p.m.

And then there's this game featuring two teams who don't have all that much to play for, though San Jose State is just a win away from becoming bowl-eligible.
