PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) Brad Woodard rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries and Texas Southern cruised to a 24-10 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Saturday.

Elijah Odom added 92 yards and a score on 12 carries for the Tigers (2-8, 2-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Odom threw just three passes in the game, completing two, including a 25-yard scoring strike to Mario Smalls. The Tigers piled up 273 yards on the ground and the two teams combined for 423 rushing yards, but just 102 through the air.

Jamie Gillan's 30-yard field goal staked the Golden Lions (2-9, 1-6) to a 3-0 first-quarter lead, but Texas Southern answered with Woodard's 1-yard TD plunge with 3:01 left in the first quarter and Odom's 12-yard TD scamper to put the Tigers up 14-3. Dante McDonald's 2-yard TD run pulled the Lions within 14-10 at the half.

Aaron Cuevas' 23-yard field goal and Smalls' TD catch came in the third quarter to cap the scoring.

Tryvarious Cole topped Arkansas-Pine Buff with 57 yards on 12 carries.
