Holland pitched a perfect eighth inning with no strikeouts to earn a hold in Wednesday's 6-4 win over Milwaukee.
The 35-year-old has settled down a bit in May after a tumultuous April. In his last seven outings, Holland has a 2.70 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and two holds. Manager Mike Matheny continues to operate with a committee at closer -- Holland (two saves, four holds) has often played second fiddle to Josh Staumont (five saves, two holds) this year. Scott Barlow and Wade Davis also remain in the mix.
