Hayes has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Nets due to a calf contusion, Jovan Buha of The Athletic reports.
Hayes wasn't listed on the initial injury report and was scratched just an hour before tipoff. The Lakers won't have a true backup center available behind Anthony Davis (knee), so they'll likely have to play small ball with the second unit. Hayes' next chance to suit up comes Tuesday in Toronto.
