Evans hasn't practiced since suffering a lower leg muscle strain in practice on Sunday.
Evans is entering his third NFL season and has yet to play in a regular season game. He needed surgery on his shoulder in 2014, costing him his rookie season, and failed to make the Jets roster last season. Now with the Jaguars, Evans is experiencing yet another setback. He's missed the team's last two practices and is still without a timetable to return. In his absence Rasheed Bailey and Jamal Robinson figure to get some extra reps.
