The first team in the MaxPreps Top 25 national high school softball rankings has been crowned a state champion.

Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, La.) needed two big rallies and a clutch three-run home run by Arkansas commit Ramsey Walker to capture its fourth straight crown. The Lady Cavaliers won a wild back-and-forth 10-9 game over Houma Christian (Houma) in the LHSAA Division III state championship game. Walker is one of three seniors who will walk away with a title every season since they were freshman.
