Chase Briscoe leads the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series standings with 223 points after picking up wins at Darlington and Las Vegas this season. Among Xfinity Series regulars, he's certainly one of the drivers to watch when the 2020 Alsco 300 takes the green flag at 7:30 p.m. ET on Monday from Charlotte Motor Speedway. But he, along with the rest of the field, will be challenged in a huge way by Cup Series star Kyle Busch, who will race on this circuit for the third time in 2020 after finishing third at Phoenix and second at Darlington.

William Hill lists Busch as the 5-6 favorite in the latest 2020 Alsco 300 odds, followed by Briscoe at 11-2. Other NASCAR Xfinity Series at Charlotte contenders include Brandon Jones, who won at Phoenix, at 11-1, and Noah Gragson, who opened the season with a win at Daytona, at 18-1. Before making any NASCAR at Charlotte Xfinity Series predictions, be sure to see the 2020 Alsco 300 picks and projected leaderboard from SportsLine's Mike McClure.

Developed by daily Fantasy pro and SportsLine predictive data engineer Mike McClure, this proprietary NASCAR prediction model simulates every race 10,000 times, taking into account factors such as track history and recent results.

The model began the 2020 NASCAR season by picking Denny Hamlin to win his second consecutive Daytona 500 at 10-1. It got off to a hot start on its NASCAR picks following the coronavirus hiatus as well, calling seven of the top 10 drivers at The Real Heroes 400 and the Toyota 500 at Darlington. Anybody who has followed it has seen huge returns.

Now, the model simulated the 2020 Alsco 300 on Monday, May 25 10,000 times. Head here to see the complete projected leaderboard.

Top 2020 Alsco 300 predictions

For Monday, the model is high on Daniel Hemric, even though he's going off as a big long shot at 22-1 in the latest Charlotte Xfinity Series NASCAR odds. Hemric was the Cup Series Rookie of the Year in 2019 after pulling off surprising top-10 performances at Talladega and Pocono. He's returned to the Xfinity Series in 2020, however, and has a pair of top-10 finishes at California (7th) and Darlington (6th) so far this season as a driver for JR Motorsports.

Hemric has a strong historical track record racing in the Xfinity Series, finishing third in 2018, just seven points behind winner Tyler Reddick. He also finished fourth overall in 2017. And he's raced well at Charlotte, finishing seventh in his last two Xfinity Series races at this track, making him one of the drivers to target in your 2020 Alsco 300 bets.

And a massive shocker: Ross Chastain, one of the Vegas favorites at 10-1, stumbles and barely cracks the top 10 even though he'll be starting from the pole position.

Chastain is fifth in the Xfinity Series standings because he's piled up four top-10 finishes this season. But he hasn't finished better than eighth overall this year, and he's struggled at Charlotte historically with an average finish position of No. 27. There are far better values in the 2020 Alsco 300 field on Monday.

How to make 2020 Alsco 300 picks

The model is also targeting three other drivers with NASCAR Xfinity Series at Charlotte odds of 18-1 or longer to make a serious run at the checkered flag, including a massive long shot higher than 30-1. Anyone who backs these drivers could hit it big.
