Kyle Busch was on a bit of a roll before the 2020 NASCAR season was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, but his return to action was less than impressive. Busch got off to a rough start this campaign but rounded into form with a second-place finish at Fontana and a third-place showing at Phoenix. The 35-year-old finished outside the top-25 at Darlington on Sunday, but he'll get a chance to redeem himself in the 2020 Toyota 500 on Wednesday evening. Busch has posted just one victory in 16 career starts at Darlington Raceway, winning the Dodge Challenger 500 in 2008.

Kevin Harvick, who won The Real Heroes 400 on Sunday, is the 9-2 favorite in the current 2020 Toyota 500 odds from William Hill, while Busch is listed at 6-1. Martin Truex Jr. (13-2), Denny Hamlin (13-2) and Alex Bowman (17-2) round out the top five contenders. The green flag drops at 6 p.m. ET. You'll want to check out the latest 2020 NASCAR at Darlington predictions from Micah Roberts, the legendary Vegas bookmaker who pioneered wagering on racing, before locking in any 2020 Toyota 500 picks of your own or entering any NASCAR DFS tournaments on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel.

Roberts is arguably the nation's premier NASCAR betting expert, and his top pick won the first two races of the 2020 season. In the season-opening Daytona 500, he nailed Hamlin's win at 10-1 odds, and he hit eventual winner Joey Logano at 13-2 odds in the Pennzoil 400 a week later.

Roberts also crushed the 2019 NASCAR season. Those who wagered $100 on his predicted winner in each of the 40 NASCAR races last year (an investment of $4,000) finished with a strong profit of $2,100. In addition, those who put down $50 on each of Roberts' top four choices in each of those races (an investment of $8,000) were up a head-turning $3,400. Anyone who has followed his picks is up huge year after year.

Now, Roberts has analyzed the field and odds for Wednesday's NASCAR at Darlington 2020 race. He's sharing his winner and leaderboard right here.

2020 Toyota 500 expert picks

One shocker: Roberts is low on Kyle Busch, even though he's one of the top 2020 Darlington NASCAR contenders at 6-1. In fact, Roberts says Busch barely finishes in the top 10.

"His only Darlington win came in 2008," Roberts told SportsLine. "He started fifth on the final restart Sunday, but had to make a pit stop and finished 26th, which was worse than where he was averaging on the day after starting last."

Another curveball: Roberts is high on Erik Jones, who is a long shot at 20-1 in the latest 2020 NASCAR at Darlington odds. Jones is coming off his second top-10 finish of the season as he was eighth at this track in Sunday's The Real Heroes 400. In addition to his eighth-place finish last week, the 23-year-old has a proven track record at Darlington, winning the Bojangles' Southern 500 last September.

"He tied for the worst finish at Darlington of his Cup Series career that spans four races (on Sunday), but it still was another top-10," Roberts said. "His eighth-place finish seemed to come from nowhere as he was in the middle of the pack all day."

How to make 2020 Toyota 500 predictions

Roberts is high on a dark-horse who has had plenty of success at Darlington and is being vastly underestimated by oddsmakers. Anyone who backs this driver could hit it big.
