LeBron James has further cemented himself as one of the greatest to ever play by passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in playoff scoring. James got hot from 3-point range in Game 2 against the Raptors, and this helped vault him past Kareem on the scoring list. James now sits second behind Michael Jordan in career postseason points.

James has always been a do-it-all player. He scores, passes, defends and does all of it really well. That versatility has made his offensive game go shockingly unappreciated throughout his career. Everybody knows he can score, but for whatever reason he's typically passed over for other guys in "best scorers of all time" discussions. One of those players is the legendary Kareem.

Abdul-Jabbar is the pinnacle of scoring. His skyhook is legendary and he's still the all-time leader in total scoring. James passing him in the playoffs is a major accomplishment that is well worth celebrating.
