As the Pittsburgh Penguins celebrate their Stanley Cup title, they end a two-month marathon that truly feels like a second season. It's hard to remember all that has transpired since mid-April, when 16 teams set out on their Cup quest.

That's why, every year, hockey fans around the world wait with bated breath for Hockey Night in Canada's end-of-playoffs montage. It has become an annual tradition and one that HNIC delivers on every single time. This year was no different.

Set to "Rise Up" as performed by Andra Day, the montage covers the highest of highs and low lows that came with the 2016 playoffs. They even have a ton of behind-the-scenes moments that add a bit of color to the already-great video signoff. Pretty much every major moments from the playoffs gets covered leading all the way to the culminating shot of the Penguins taking the picture that will be hanging on basement walls throughout Pittsburgh for years to come.

If you've followed the playoffs closely, this will be a great refresher. If you haven't been keeping up, well, this is going to be a fairly dramatic abridged version. It may even give you chills.

And with that, the 2015-16 NHL season has officially come to a close.
