It's the Day 8 of the 2016 Rio Olympics, and action continues with plenty of exciting medal events.

In the morning, Usain Bolt and Justin Gatlin hit the track for the first time in the 100-meter prelims. Later in the evening, the world's fastest woman will be named following the women's 100-meter final.

Michael Phelps will also swim in his final Olympic race, the 4x100-meter medley relay, on Saturday night.
