The most viral moment of the Olympics to date is now permanent on someone's body. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Michael Phelps' increasingly angry game face from before his 200-meter butterfly semifinal swim as South African rival Chad le Clos aggressively warmed up in front of him, is now a tattoo.

Tattoo artist Livia Stang of Chronic Ink shared on Instagram the fresh artwork on her boss' leg. There's Phelps looking like a Sith Lord or something planning on world domination.

Here's what Stang told Global News in Canada (h/t FTW):

"I definitely saw the memes beforehand, and when he sent me the photo via WhatsApp, we had a bit of a laugh about it but then pretty spontaneously decided to go ahead and do it," the tattoo artist revealed. "He sent me the photo after Phelps won his 21st gold medal and I knew we had to do it before the Olympics were over, just so we could be included in the fun."

So apparently this tattoo was done in Canada. Shouldn't there be an influx of Penny Oleksiak tattoos north of the border instead?

#PhelpsFace has become one of the lasting images of the games, only made better by Phelps' sheer dominant performance in the 200-meter fly final where he smoked le Clos for his 20th career gold medal. Phelps has since won two more golds and has a shot at two more before his time in Rio is done.

If you're going to get a tattoo of any individual you're not related to, it might as well be the GOAT.
