La Liga action on Sunday will see fourth-place Barcelona host second-place Sevilla as both aim to take a step toward Champions League qualification. Barca entered the weekend in third but were jumped by Atletico Madrid on Saturday with the chance to return the favor with just a point in this one. Second-place Sevilla are seven points clear of fifth place entering the day, while Barca are four clear, with both looking like near locks to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Here's our storylines, how you can watch the match and more:

How to watch and odds

  • Date: Sunday, April 3 | Time: 3 p.m. ET
  • Location: Camp Nou -- Barcelona, Spain
  • Live stream: ESPN+
  • Odds: Barcelona -245; Draw +350; Sevilla +750 (via Caesars Sportsbook)

Storylines

Barca: Sergino Dest has missed two games with his biceps injury, while also missing the United States men's national team's World Cup qualifying last month. Striker Luke de Jong has tested positive for COVID-19 and remains out, but other than them, this is a full-strength Barca side expected to stay hot. With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leading the way,  Barca haven't lost in La Liga this calendar year, with the last defeat coming in December.

Sevilla: Incredibly, they've lost just two of their 29 games this season, less than any other side in Spain. But they enter with just one win in their last five, scoring multiple goals in a league game just once since the middle of February. Against Barca, the defense must be quick to react to their dynamic passes or they risk their third league loss. Midfielders Fernando and Thomas Delaney remain out due to injury.

Prediction

The incredible form of Barca and Aubameyang continues with a narrow win. Pick: Barca 2, Sevilla 1
