Tensions have been high in Barcelona with the Independence referendum, which saw the city's most popular soccer team play behind closed doors on Sunday. The violence in the streets and the uncertainty as to how things will play out is surely stressful for the players. So as Barca and Las Palmas took the field with an eerie atmosphere, it was a rare, up-close look where you could hear the players talk, as the lack of fans resulted in a scene that was strange to the eye for TV viewers. 

And if you want to know how tense things were, check out Luis Suarez. He missed a goal in the final minutes, a shot he would normally put away, and he took out that frustration on his jersey. Take a look:

Man, those jerseys aren't cheap. Why destroy it? Give it to a fan instead of ripping it apart. He gets a pass on this one, though, as Barca was in a tough spot with more than just the sport on their mind.
