WATCH: Milan fans show anger against young star by throwing fake money at him

AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is projected to become the best goalkeeper in the world at some point. At just 18 years of age, he is already one of the top ones in Europe and has 72 appearances for his club. But after failing to agree to a new contract with his club, his future remains up in the air with clubs like Real Madrid linked

Milan fans are not happy at the prospect of losing their next great talent, and they are letting him know it. Many Milan fans were supporting the Italy U-21 team at the weekend against Denmark in the European U-21 Championship, and Donnarumma was starting in goal. With them feeling like he could bolt for a bigger payday somewhere, they decided to litter his goal with fake money. Take a look:

Not good. Not good at all. Having the fans against you when you are a veteran or a legend must be tough, but when you are just a kid and are still trying to figure out how to deal with life as a professional and control your emotions? That's even more complicated. This certainly doesn't help anything, but it's a big statement by the fans and it certainly caught the player's attention.
