The LIU Sharks are staying on the road Wednesday to face off against the #23 Connecticut Huskies at 6:30 p.m. ET Nov. 17 at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion. The Huskies will be strutting in after a victory while LIU will be stumbling in from a defeat.

The Sharks suffered a grim 84-60 defeat to the Fresno State Bulldogs last week. LIU's loss came about despite a quality game from Ty Flowers, who shot 6-for-14 from beyond the arc and finished with 26 points and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, the sound you heard this past Saturday was the absolute smackdown UConn laid on the Coppin State Eagles. UConn got their win on the backs of several key players, and it was guard Jalen Gaffney out in front picking up 11 points and eight assists in addition to five boards.
