Deion Sanders and the Colorado football team have been a big storyline this season, so it was only natural that "Saturday Night Live" poked a little fun at the head coach. Although the joke was surrounding the Buffaloes' loss to Stanford, Coach Prime has a good sense of humor and didn't take the skit personally.

Sanders was played by Kenan Thompson, who was wearing a white Colorado hoodie, cap and sunglasses.

"I'm a fan of Kenan, let's get that straight. I love what he's brought to comedy," Sanders said during his weekly press conference on Tuesday. "I had the pleasure and honor to host Saturday Night Live before and I'll never forget those moments."

Sanders hosted the show on Feb. 18, 1995, with Bon Jovi as the musical guest.

He had a lot of praise for Thompson, but he was asked to name who he thinks has done the best impersonation of him. Sanders thought about it for a second and then gave reporters his answer -- Lou Young, a former NFL cornerback turned comedian.

"The person who I think has me down the most is... I got to give it to Lou Young," Sanders said. "I hate to admit it, but Lou is good. Lou Young is really good."

The loss to Stanford was a painful one because the Buffaloes were up 29-0 at halftime. However, Colorado is ready to get back to work after a bye week. Next up, the Buffaloes will be taking on No. 23 UCLA in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 28.
