The lingering injury woes for LSU star running back Derrius Guice will not go away. Now, his availability for Saturday's game against Syracuse is in jeopardy.

On Wednesday during his weekly teleconference, Tigers coach Ed Orgeron said that Guice is "very questionable" for Week 4. "I don't know if Derrius Guice is going to play," he said, noting that Guice was held out of practice Monday and Tuesday with a minor injury.

Guice did not finish last week's 37-7 loss to Mississippi State. Still, the junior has 300 yards and four touchdowns already on the season.

Guice was battling another "minor injury" he sustained in August leading up to the season-opening game against BYU, but did play against the Cougars, racking up 122 yards and two scores. It's not clear if this injury is related to the one he previously suffered.

Darrel Williams is LSU's second-leading rusher with 159 yards and four touchdowns.
