Will the third school be the charm for Pete Thomas?

Louisiana-Monroe announced Tuesday that the quarterback will join its football program this summer after transferring from North Carolina State. Thomas graduates in May and will be immediately eligible for the Warhawks in 2014.

Louisiana-Monroe will be the third school that Thomas has suited up for, as he began his college career at Colorado State. After playing two seasons with the Rams Thomas transferred to North Carolina State following the 2011 season, sat out 2012 and played in nine games for the Wolfpack last season.

In 30 career games with both Colorado State and North Carolina State, Thomas has thrown for 5,936 yards, 22 touchdowns and 30 interceptions.
