South Carolina has pulled this week's episode of the "Steve Spurrier Show" from the athletic department's website. The school did so because Spurrier asked it to remove the show because he felt he was "too negative" during the show.

“I shouldn’t be so negative and I have to come back and say, ‘I shouldn’t have been so negative about our coaches and everything,’ ” Spurrier told GoGamecocks.com.

The show is also replayed on Fox Sports South on Tuesdays, but GoGamecocks.com also reports that the school has also asked Fox Sports South to not show the replay of the show.

Of course, some have speculated that the reason the show was pulled was not because Spurrier was "too negative" on the show. Deadspin mentioned Spurrier slurring words during the broadcast

Spurrier was asked about whether or not this was due to fatigue from a long week and a game on a hot day in Orlando -- Spurrier actually changed from a black polo to a white polo during halftime -- and he told GoGamecocks.com, "I guess so."

When asked if he was impaired in any way during the show Spurrier replied, "I hope not."
