No. 9 Michigan State kicker Michael Geiger ended No. 3 Ohio State's winning streak with a 17-14 win, stealing control of the Big Ten East from the Buckeyes with his game-winning field goal in Ohio Stadium on Saturday.

The Toledo, Ohio, native had missed his only other attempt of the game, from 43 yards, when Urban Meyer called timeout to ice him on the first try. Geiger then booted it through the uprights as time expired and celebrated like a champ.

What kind of celebration is this windmill-fist pump themed arm motion? Geiger told CBS Sports' Jon Solomon he was doing a celebration from the FIFA video game.

"I play too much FIFA," Geiger said. "That's a video game and it's a pretty common celebration. I was just trying to go the whole length of the field. It was kind of spur-of-the-moment. I wasn't really thinking."

"I've been waiting my whole life to beat that team in this stadium," Geiger said after the game, via the Lansing State Journal. "My whole life."

Michigan State didn't have Connor Cook but was ready to play a close grinding game in nasty weather with a ground-heavy attack and a defense that held Ohio State to just 132 yards of offense.

"We've been chased all year long in ten games, and this game we got to be the chaser," Spartans coach Mark Dantonio said on ESPN after the game. "So we could chase this game, and we could play on emotion."

Michigan State hosts Penn State next weekend. With a win, the Spartans would be headed to the Big Ten title game.
