Ryu (shoulder) has been officially reinstated from the 60-day disabled list ahead of his start Thursday against the Padres.
Ryu will make his long-anticipated season debut Thursday after a difficult recovery and rehab from shoulder surgery last May that had numerous starts and stops. According to Andy McCullough of the LA Times, Ryu won't be on a pitch count Thursday. However, given that he never threw more than 84 pitches in any of his rehab appearances, it's unlikely that he'll make it very deep into Thursday's outing.
