Ross (shoulder) says he is throwing from 100 feet every day, but is unsure when he will return to the mound, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Ross, who signed a one-year deal with the Rangers this offseason, notes he's still gaining back his strength after undergoing a thoracic outlet syndrome surgery in October. There's no timetable at this point, but the veteran right-hander cautions he's trying not to rush the recovery by taking it one week at a time. Ross played just one game for San Diego last season before being shut down.
