The Rays reinstated Margot (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Steve Carney of Sports Radio 620 WDAE reports.

Margot returns to the active roster after he was sidelined for approximately three weeks with a strained left hamstring. He had been filling a near-everyday role in the Tampa Bay outfield prior to going on the shelf, but the team's recent addition of Nelson Cruz could result in Margot fading into more of a part-time job. With Cruz locked in as the team's everyday DH while Randy Arozarena and Austin Meadows are both assured outfield spots versus right-handed pitching, Margot will primarily compete with Kevin Kiermaier for playing time in center field.
