Capobianco played 13:45 in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Kings.
Capobianco had been competing with Ilya Lyubushkin for one spot in the lineup, but the latter was traded to the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Capobianco should at least see a short-term bump in playing time, though the Coyotes may eventually recall Victor Soderstrom from AHL Tucson to get more top-level experience. Through 21 contests, Capobianco has five points, 17 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, 16 hits and a minus-5 rating in a bottom-four role.
