Datsyuk (undisclosed) will not play in Saturday's semifinal game against Team Canada, Arpon Basu of LNH.com reports.
If Team Russia manages to move onto the finals, Datsyuk will garner a few more days to rest since the first game of the best-of-three series won't begin until Tuesday. The severity of his injury still remains unknown, so there's no guarantee he'll be available if Team Russia does indeed advance.
