Unfortunately for Datsyuk, he sustained an undisclosed injury and was unable to suit up for the semifinal against Team Canada, a contest that the Russians ended up losing. Before leaving his country for the World Cup in Toronto, the Magic Man registered a pair of three-point outings over six regular-season contests for SKA St. Petersburg.
