The MF crew take a look at all the notable midweek action in the Premier League including the Merseyside derby which took place yesterday. Everton was able to hold serve at home and take down their cross-park rivals 2-0 doing heavy damage in the meantime in Liverpool's chances for the title. Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both slotted home goals for the Toffees and their defense was able to keep a clean sheet. Liverpool's front three just looked off and Mo Salah appeared "checked out." After losing out in Europa League and the FA Cup, the chances for a trophy to commemorate Klopp's send-off are all but out of reach now it appears.
