Cullen said that he's likely to retire after winning the Stanley Cup on Sunday, James Mirtle of The Athletic reports.

With 745 points in 1489 career NHL contests, the 40-year-old has had quite the career, which has now been punctuated by his third Stanley Cup (two with Pittsburgh, one with Carolina). Despite his age, Cullen provided a solid source of secondary scoring in the regular season (31 points in 72 contests) before adding a pair of goals and seven assists in the postseason, so his absence from the Penguins' lineup won't be insignificant.
