Ratcliffe (upper body) was returned to AHL Chicago last Tuesday, according to the AHL transaction page. Ratcliffe had been attending training camp with the Blues on a professional tryout prior to his release from the team. He agreed to a one-year deal with the unaffiliated Wolves in July. The 24-year-old forward registered six goals and 20 points in 47 AHL contests between Lehigh Valley and Milwaukee last season.... See More ... See Less

Blues' Isaac Ratcliffe: Suffers upper-body injury
Ratcliffe sustained an upper-body injury that will rule him out versus Chicago on Thursday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports. Ratcliffe is currently with the Blues on a professional tryout, so this injury isn't going to improve his chances of making the Opening Night roster. The winger failed to make an NHL appearance last season and has just 10 top-level career games under his belt. At this point, the 2017 second-round pick is unlikely to ever become more than an organizational depth piece.... See More ... See Less -
Blues' Isaac Ratcliffe: Receives PTO
Ratcliffe signed a professional tryout agreement with the Blues on Thursday. Ratcliffe previously signed a minor-league contract with the unaffiliated AHL Chicago club in July, so he'll have a fall-back option if he doesn't get a full contract with the Blues. The forward split time between Milwaukee and Lehigh Valley in the AHL last year, combining for six goals and 20 points over 47 contests. He has four points in 10 career NHL games, all with the Flyers.... See More ... See Less -
Predators' Isaac Ratcliffe: Dealt to Nashville
Ratliffe was traded from Philadelphia to Nashville on Sunday in exchange for future considerations. Ratcliffe scored four points in 10 games with the Flyers last season but hasn't seen any NHL action since. He's tallied just four points in 26 AHL games in 2022-23. The 24-year-old could see some time with the Predators as their forward group is thin at the moment.... See More ... See Less -
Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Hits waivers
Ratcliffe was waived by the Flyers on Friday, Adam Kimelman of NHL.com reports. Ratcliffe is just 23 years old and picked up four points through 10 top-level appearances as a rookie last year, so there's a chance he'll get claimed off waivers. If not, look for him to be assigned to AHL Lehigh Valley.... See More ... See Less -
Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Re-ups in Philadelphia
Ratcliffe signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Flyers on Tuesday. Ratcliffe's deal carries an AAV of $813,750. The winger made 10 NHL appearances with the Flyers last year, racking up a goal and three assists. The 23-year-old should get a look in a bottom-six role at some point in 2022-23, but the two-way nature of his deal suggests he'll see more time at AHL Lehigh Valley.... See More ... See Less -
Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Returns to AHL
Ratcliffe was assigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Thursday. Ratcliffe has averaged 11:22 of ice time and recorded four points over the last eight NHL games. The 22-year-old will return to AHL Lehigh Valley, looking to add to his 13 points over 33 games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Elevated to active roster
Ratcliffe was promoted from the taxi squad to the active roster Thursday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Ratcliffe has logged four goals and six assists over 31 appearances with AHL Lehigh Valley this season. The 22-year-old is in line to make his NHL debut Saturday against Los Angeles.... See More ... Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Joins taxi squad
Ratcliffe was promoted to the Flyers' taxi squad Wednesday. With the Flyers off until Saturday's clash with the Kings, they shuffled around the roster, making six player transactions including the addition of Ratcliffe to the taxi squad. The 22-year-old winger has yet to make his NHL debut and will likely be shuffled back to the minors once it gets closer to puck drop for Saturday's contest.... See More ... See Less -
Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Assigned to AHL affiliate
Ratcliffe (ribs) was assigned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Ratcliffe stuck with the big club while recovering from a rib injury, but now that he's made a full recovery, he'll head to the minors for the foreseeable future. The 2017 second-round pick tallied 15 points in 53 AHL appearances last season.... See More ... See Less -
Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Skating with taxi squad
Ratcliffe (ribs) skated with the Flyers' taxi squad Saturday, Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Ratcliffe missed training camp with a fractured rib, but his appearance on the ice Saturday suggests he's likely close to being cleared medically. Once he's deemed fit to play, the 2017 second-round pick will almost certainly head to the AHL.... See More ... See Less -
Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Scores in professional debut Friday
Making his professional debut Friday, Ratcliffe scored a goal in AHL Lehigh Valley's 5-2 win over Bridgeport. The Flyers were so thrilled that Ratcliffe fell to them with the 35th overall pick last June that they signed him to an entry-level deal less than six weeks later. The hulking winger responded with a 41-goal campaign for OHL Guelph this past season. Ratcliffe has ridiculous size (6-foot-5, 205 pounds) and a sweet set of mitts. He remains a couple years away from NHL duty, but Ratcliffe gives the Flyers another potential impact prospect in their loaded farm system.... See More ... See Less -
Flyers' Isaac Ratcliffe: Earns ELC
Ratcliffe signed an entry-level contract with the Flyers on Thursday. The 6-foot-6 winger fashioned 67 points (33 goals, 34 assists) over 113 games between the last two seasons with the OHL's Guelph Storm. Philadelphia realized his potential and selected him in the second round (35th overall) of this year's draft. He is just 18 years old, though, so fantasy owners should view him only as a keeper/dynasty option this early in his career.... See More ... See Less
