Bruins' Kyle Keyser: Back in AHL

Bruins' Kyle Keyser: Summoned by Bruins
Keyser was called up by Boston on Wednesday, per Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal. Keyser had a 2.79 GAA and a .900 save percentage in 24 AHL outings with Providence in 2022-23. Bruins' Kyle Keyser: Called up to big club
Keyser was recalled from AHL Providence on Thursday, Mark Divver of the New England Hockey Journal reports. With Jeremy Swayman entering the league's COVID-19 protocols, Keyser has been brought up to fill the No. 2 goalie slot behind Linus Ullmark. Bruins' Kyle Keyser: Earns win in Team USA's WJC opener
Keyser stopped 13 of 14 shots in Team USA's 2-1 win over Slovakia at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship on Wednesday. Keyser gave his country a chance to win a game in which it took his teammates the better part of the first two periods to find their legs. He was calm and steady throughout the contest with his biggest stop coming on a (horribly called) penalty shot late in the third period. Montreal prospect Cayden Primeau is expected to start for the United States on Friday, but it's clear that Keyser, who is having a remarkable season for OHL Oshawa (2.31 GAA, .931 save percentage in 24 games), is in the running to be the No. 1 man for the Americans.... Bruins' Kyle Keyser: Joins AHL Providence

Keyser, who logged a 28-13-0 record to go along with a 3.16 GAA and .904 save percentage in 47 regular-season games with OHL Oshawa this past season, joined the B's as an undrafted free agent this past fall. He'll provide the organization with added goaltending depth and could potentially rise up the ranks down the road with a strong minor-league performance.... See More ... See Less
