Adam Hadwin is heading into the final round of the CareerBuilder Challenge with a strong lead thanks to a stellar third round showing. The Canadian golfer and former Louisville Cardinal carded 13 birdies and no bogeys, becoming just the eighth player in PGA Tour history to shoot a 59.

Hadwin got hot early with a six-birdie run on the front and then another five-birdie streak on the back.
And even with that 59, one stroke short of Jim Furyk's single-round record (58), Hadwin has just a one-shot lead on the field. The low score wasn't even the most shocking moment of the round. That had to be when the pants came off for Gonzalo Fdez-Castano to knock this ball from the edge of the water onto the green at No. 9.

The round comes just nine days after Justin Thomas matched the feat in Hawaii. His 59 led to a win at the Sony Open, we'll see where Hadwin's score lands him on Sunday.
