Brandt Snedeker has now won two Farmers Insurance Opens in the past five years. It took him nearly 24 hours from the time he finished his final round at Torrey Pines to secure the hardware (more on that in a minute), but Snedeker outlasted Jimmy Walker and K.J. Choi to win by one stroke on Monday afternoon. And he didn't hit a single shot.

Here are five things you need to know about golf from over the weekend.

1. The final round of the Farmers Insurance Open was bizarre. Snedeker's win was the most anticlimactic victory I can recall in the past few years. Snedeker shot his crazy final-round 69 that was nearly 10 shots better than the field average) on Sunday. He was one of the few golfers to finish up and narrowly trailed the leaders still out on the course.

The others came back out on Monday after play was suspended on Sunday because of weather while Snedeker watched from the range for two hours wondering if there would be a playoff. The wind actually gusted into the players' faces on Monday, so scores rose even higher. And then, 24 hours after holing his last putt, Snedeker hoisted the trophy. He didn't so much as hit a shot on the final day of play.

2. That 69, though. It's hard to overstate how good Snedeker's 3-under 69 on Sunday actually was compared to most similar scores. There were 23 round of 80 or worse in the final round and two of par or better. Snedeker's was one of the two. The other was an even-par 72 by Robert Streb.

"I thought I was out of the tournament starting on Sunday morning," Snedeker told CBS' Dottie Pepper. "Everything worked out perfectly for me. I hate watching this stuff because I'm not in control." Snedeker was out of the tournament. Then he dropped the 69 on everybody. His peers recognized it for what it was.

Speaking of Horschel, this 5-iron from 135 yards should show you how brutal the weather was when Snedeker shot his 69.

3. Branden Grace defended his title at the Qatar Masters. Grace outlasted the field by two strokes and remains probably the most underrated great player on the planet. "To win is tough, but to defend is even tougher," Grace said after his second straight win at Qatar. "It's brutal conditions out there."

4. Torrey Pines yielded so many hole outs. So. Many. Hole outs. This was before the biblical weather came on the weekend, but Ben Crane, Freddie Jacobson and Jason Gore all holed out in epic fashion at Torrey Pines.

5. Oh, and Jordan Spieth played. Spieth took on the Asian Tour over the weekend (for a hefty sum of cash, of course). He lost by a shot which, according to people smarter than myself, is probably a little bit better than it sounds.

Let's go Inside the Numbers that defined this weekend.

7 -- Brandt Snedeker wins since 2011 (only Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have more)

1 -- Players under par during final round of Farmers Insurance Open

21 -- Hours between Snedeker's finish and when he took the lead

77.9 -- Scoring average in final round of Farmers Insurance Open

5 -- Golfers who have beaten Jordan Spieth in three tournaments this year
