Could we live in a world where Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson holds the world long drive record one day? We could, apparently. Johnson posted the following photograph to his Instagram account on Tuesday from the set of “Ballers” and said he hit this drive 490 yards. This does not seem like a thing that could actually happen short of Johnson standing over a large cliff, but who knows.

The world record is 515 yards (more on this in a bit), and Johnson said he’s coming for it.

“The world record longest drive is 515 yards set in 1974,” wrote Johnson. “My drive here measured an estimated 490 yards by the scientists holding the rulers. I failed math when I was a kid, but I think that’s kinda close. One fun day I will break the world record. Great day on the links shooting scenes for our @ballershbo. Subsequently, I also hit two other great balls... when I stepped on a rake.”

The 515-yard record Johnson referenced was set by Mike Austin at a U.S. Senior Open qualifier. He was using a persimmon club. So obviously he was aided by a hill or a cart path or something. This is also the official tournament record.

The long drive contest record is actually only 506 yards, which was achieved in 2012 by Nicco Grobbelaar in South Africa.
