Wednesday afternoon, a tearful Prince Fielder announced he has been advised by doctors to stop playing Major League Baseball as a result of his second spinal fusion surgery. He has been declared medically unable to play.
On his way into the press conference room, Fielder made sure to take the opportunity to touch Rangers teammate Adrian Beltre's head one last time. Check it out:

That's pretty awesome. Beltre, as I'm sure you know, doesn't like people touching his head at all. It's a bit of a phobia, really. Fielder got him good there.
Prince thanked his family, his teammates, his coaches, and basically everyone who helped him along the way during the press conference. Beltre head-touching aside, Wednesday had to be a tough and emotioaln day for Fielder, who is having his career taken away at age 32.
