UFC continues its run of events from its own Apex facility on Saturday night with another Fight Night card in Las Vegas. This time, a pair of ranked heavyweights headline the marquee as Curtis Blaydes takes on Alexander Volkov with plenty at stake in a very fluid division.
Blaydes (13-2) has been perfect in his career with the exception of two losses to top heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou. He is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, beating Junior Dos Santos via TKO in his most recent outing. Volkov (31-7) had a six-fight winning streak snapped when he was knocked out by Derrick Lewis just 11 seconds before the final bell in a fight where he would have won the decision. He rebounded from that loss in November, beating Greg Hardy by unanimous decision.

Saturday's fight card also features a strong co-main event of featherweights looking to climb the ladder toward the title in Josh Emmett and Shane Burgos. Emmett, 35, has found explosive power in his last four fights, scoring three incredible knockout wins against high-level competition. Burgos, meanwhile, is getting his second chance against ranked competition after amassing a 6-1 record in UFC with the lone loss coming to another rising contender in Calvin Kattar by knockout in a Fight of the Night performance in January 2018.
Plus, some good up-and-coming fighters fill out the rest of the main card. Belal Muhammad and Lyman Good meet up in a welterweight matchup. Muhammad is 6-1 in UFC since 2017 with some incredible fights while Good is 3-2 in his UFC career. And Roosevelt Roberts looks to keep his winning ways on track when he takes on veteran and UFC record holder Jim Miller.
