The 2020 Go Bowling 235 begins at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, and daily Fantasy NASCAR players will be presented with a unique situation when they enter NASCAR DFS tournaments, cash games and 50-50s on sites like FanDuel and DraftKings. This will be the first NASCAR Cup Series event at the Daytona International Speedway Road Course, so there isn't any track history to consult as you fill out your NASCAR DFS lineups. Instead, drivers with established track records on road courses could be at a premium.

Jimmie Johnson has finished in the top 10 in 50 percent of his career starts on road courses, which could make him one of the most popular options in the NASCAR DFS driver pool. Before finalizing your NASCAR DFS picks for Sunday, be sure to check out the optimal NASCAR at Daytona DFS strategy and advice from SportsLine's Mike McClure.

McClure has won almost $2 million in his career as a daily Fantasy pro, and his NASCAR DFS driver pool, projections and advice can help you score a big win on Sunday. McClure dominated NASCAR DFS at the 2020 Daytona 500, turning a 4x ROI after rostering four of the top seven drivers.

He then crushed the 2020 Real Heroes 400, with his top three picks -- Denny Hamlin, Erik Jones and Martin Truex Jr. -- all finishing in the top eight. He also had Truex Jr. at No. 1 in his DraftKings value rankings for his win at Martinsville and then had Kevin Harvick at No. 1 for his win at Indianapolis. Anybody who has followed his picks has seen huge returns.

Now, he's turned his attention to Sunday's 2020 Go Bowling 235. He's only sharing his picks and NASCAR DFS driver pool here.

Top 2020 Go Bowling 235 NASCAR DFS picks

For the 2020 Go Bowling 235, McClure is high on Cole Custer at $7,500 on FanDuel and $7,600 on DraftKings. The 22-year-old rookie is currently 21st in the NASCAR Cup Series standings, but he's secured a spot in the NASCAR Playoffs by virtue of a victory at the Quaker State 400 in Kentucky earlier this summer.

This will be Custer's first road course start on NASCAR's top circuit, but he was extremely consistent in road races on the Xfinity Series. In fact, Custer has nine top-10 finishes in 11 road starts, while his 26th-place starting position gives him room to rack up points for passing in daily Fantasy NASCAR.

McClure's NASCAR DFS strategy also includes rostering Alex Bowman ($9,100 on FanDuel, $8,200 on DraftKings). Bowman is currently 11th in the NASCAR Cup Series standings and has already earned a spot in the 2020 NASCAR Playoffs as one of just 10 different race winners this season.

Bowman earned his second NASCAR Cup victory at Fontana in dominant fashion, leading 110 laps on his way to victory lane. He has had four runs this season in which he's led at least 40 laps.

He's also made enormous strides as a road racer the past two seasons, finishing in the top 15 in six straight road starts.

How to set 2020 Go Bowling 235 DFS lineups

McClure is also targeting an undervalued driver set to return plenty of value. He's in prime position to make a run at the checkered flag and comes at a price that won't break the bank. This pick could be the difference between cashing huge in your NASCAR DFS tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can see every pick here.
