Not including two-way contracts for their new G-League team, the Wisconsin Herd, the Milwaukee Bucks have made zero free agent acquisitions this summer, and it doesn't appear that their shutout will end anytime soon.
According to a report from Jeff Zillgitt of USA Today, the Bucks have no meeting scheduled with free agent point guard Derrick Rose, with whom they have been linked throughout the summer.
The two sides met earlier in the free agency process, and a report from ESPN's Chris Haynes just a few days back indicated that the Bucks were attempting to set up another meeting in Los Angeles. Apparently they have not been able to do so, however.
Last season, his first with the Knicks, the 28-year-old Rose averaged 18 points, 4.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds, though it's not really clear where he'd fit in with the Bucks, as they seem to have the point guard situation figured out with Malcolm Brogdon coming off the Rookie of the Year award, and big money tied up with Matthew Dellavedova to back him up.
Plus, Rose's inability to shoot from the outside would further hamper the Bucks' already cramped spacing.
