McCallum tallied 16 points (8-16 FG, 0-1 3Pt), nine assists and six rebounds over 40 minutes in Monday's 110-95 loss to Lakeland.
McCallum played a season-high 40 minutes Monday with several teammates out due to injuries, and he came within one assist of his first double-double of the year during the loss. He could continue to see increased run for the Swarm if the team isn't fully healthy.

Ray McCallum: Productive in relief
McCallum posted 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block over 18 minutes in Wednesday's 120-118 win over the Blue.
McCallum was efficient with his limited opportunities Wednesday, and he helped contribute to the comeback win over Oklahoma City. He's now scored in double figures during back-to-back contests and is averaging 8.3 points and 4.2 assists over 20.7 minutes per game this year.

McCallum has continued to come off the bench through the first five games of the 2020-21 G League season, and he's seen relatively consistent playing time for the Swarm. He's provided a spark for the team's offense, averaging 8.4 points and 4.2 assists over 22.8 minutes per game.

McCallum wasn't efficient from the field in Thursday's G League season opener, but he led the team in assists and was somewhat productive off the bench. He led the team's bench players in minutes against the Knicks and could carve out a role for the Swarm during the four-week bubble in Orlando.

Ray McCallum: Heads overseas
McCallum agreed Wednesday to a contract with CB Breogan of the Spanish League, Eurohoops.net reports.
With his G League club (the Ontario Agua Caliente Clippers) recently concluding its season, McCallum will head overseas for additional work. His contract likely expires once the Spanish League season ends, so McCallum should return to North America this summer in pursuit of a training-camp invitation from an NBA squad.

Ray McCallum: Returns after missing four games
McCallum (groin) registered 16 points (4-10 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 8-8 FT), two rebounds, one assist and one steal in the 115-105 win Tuesday over the Swarm.
McCallum missed the previous four games thanks to a groin injury, but was able to return to the court just two games before the conclusion of the 2018-19 regular season. In 10 games with the organization, McCallum is averaging 13.0 points, 3.2 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals.

McCallum exploded for 19 points (7-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four assists, three rebounds and a steal in the win Tuesday over Austin.
McCallum has only played in five games with Ontario Agua Caliente, but he's averaging 26.6 minutes during that time frame, along with 12.6 points, 4.2 assists and 3.4 rebounds. Expect him to continue posting similar ratios so long as he's playing 20 minutes a night.

Rockets' Ray McCallum: Heading overseas
McCallum signed a one-year with Unicaja Malaga in Spain, The EuroLeague's official website reports.
The 26-year-old spent all of last season in the D-League, and though he excelled at that level (17.6 points, 7.0 assists), it wasn't enough to land him an NBA deal heading into the season. With that, McCallum will head overseas for at least this season as a member of Unicaja Malaga.

Rockets' Ray McCallum: To join Rockets
McCallum will sign a free-agent contract with the Rockets, Johnathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
McCallum will link up with Houston for summer league action after spending part of this past season with the Hornets. Although he never played over the course of two 10-day contracts with Charlotte, McCallum averaged 17.6 points, 7.0 assists and 5.8 rebounds in the G League, and boasts previous NBA experience having played his first two seasons with the Kings before stints with the Spurs and Grizzlies in 2015-16.

Ray McCallum: Contract with Charlotte expires
McCallum's second 10-day contract with the Hornets expired Friday, MLive.com's Aaron McMann reports.
The Hornets haven't formally announced whether they'll release McCallum or sign him to a contract for the rest of the season, but it appears they will go with the former route, as the team formally signed Johnny O'Bryant to a 10-day deal Friday, filling their 15th roster spot. McCallum never ended up seeing the floor during his two 10-day stints with the Hornets, as coach Steve Clifford opted to use Kemba Walker and Brian Roberts as his sole point guards. Look for McCallum to report back to the D-League's Grand Rapids Drive.

McCallum signed a second 10-day contract Monday with the Hornets.
McCallum didn't see the floor over the course of his first 10-day contract, but the team is still willing to keep him around for at least another week and a half. He'll give the team some depth at point guard while Ramon Sessions (knee) remains sidelined for at least another three weeks, but McCallum is clearly third on the depth chart at point guard behind Kemba Walker and Brian Roberts, which means he won't see the floor in most competitive contests.

Hornets' Ray McCallum: Will sign 10-day deal with Charlotte
McCallum is expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Hornets on Saturday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Since waiving Aaron Harrison in the first week of January, the Hornets have had a vacancy on the roster, and they'll look to plug that hole with McCallum for the time being. The 25-year-old has previously spent parts of three seasons with the Kings, Grizzlies and Spurs, but has plied his trade at the D-League level throughout 2016-17 after being waived by the Pistons during training camp. McCallum will likely check in fourth on the depth chart at point guard for the Hornets behind Kemba Walker, Ramon Sessions and Brian Roberts, so it may be difficult for him to crack the rotation so long as he remains under contract with the club.

Ray McCallum: Waived by Pistons
McCallum was waived by the Pistons on Monday following the acquisition of Beno Udrih off of waivers, Aaron McMann of MLive.com reports.
After Detroit waived Lorenzo Brown over the weekend, it appeared as though McCallum had secured on a spot on the 15-man roster, but that won't be the case after the team was able to pick up veteran Beno Udrih off of waivers Monday. While the Pistons coaching staff spoke highly of McCallum, a Detroit native, Udrih is the more experienced player and should help stabilize the point guard position in the absence of Reggie Jackson (knee). McCallum will now look elsewhere for a more permanent home but may be forced to try his luck in the D-League or overseas.

McCallum, who played his college ball at Detroit, outplayed Lorenzo Brown in training camp to claim a backup role at point guard. With Reggie Jackson (knee) sidelined to begin the regular season, McCallum will tentatively slot in second on the depth chart behind Ish Smith, though it's possible the team could add another veteran at the position who could push McCallum down to third in the pecking order.

Pistons' Ray McCallum: Signs with Pistons
McCallum agreed Monday with the Pistons on a one-year contract for the veteran's minimum, Michael Scotto of Sheridan Hoops reports.
McCallum, who went to college at Detroit, saw time with the Spurs and Grizzlies last season, averaging 3.3 points, 1.5 assists and 1.1 rebounds across 11.6 minutes per game. His playing time spiked when he joined the injury-plagued Grizzlies on a pair of two-day deals, but he was eventually bounced off the roster after he was outplayed by Jordan Farmar and Xavier Munford. The Pistons have Reggie Jackson and Ish Smith locked in as the top two point guards, so McCallum will likely have to battle Lorenzo Brown for the third-string role. Don't expect either player to be a rotation regular unless Jackson or Smith succumb to an injury.

McCallum is expected to be released by the Grizzlies on Saturday, Chris Vernon of ESPN reports.
McCallum's second 10-day contract will be expiring and the Grizzlies have opted to bring in Bryce Cotton on a 10-day contract instead of signing McCallum for the rest of the season. In 10 appearances with the Grizzlies, including three starts, McCallum finished with averages of 6.9 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists over 22 minutes per game. He'll head to the free agent market and could get a look from guard needy teams moving into the playoffs.

McCallum compiled seven points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist, and one steal across 21 minutes during the Grizzlies' 110-104 loss to the Spurs on Friday.
McCallum moved to the bench on Friday while Jordan Farmar took his spot in the starting lineup and saw 23 minutes. With Mike Conley (Achilles) out for the remainder of the regular season, McCallum seems likely to receive a contract for the rest of 2015-16. The Grizzlies have a rematch against the Spurs on Monday.

Grizzlies' Ray McCallum: Signs second 10-day deal
McCallum signed a second 10-day contract with the Grizzlies on Tuesday, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
McCallum has been thrust into action right away after initially signing with the Grizzlies on March 12. Through six games, the point guard is averaging 8.5 points, 2.8 assists, and 1.7 rebounds, though he's shooting only 38.5 percent from the floor. Even so, the injury-riddled Grizzlies don't really have any other options, so McCallum will likely continue to see a heavy minutes load with the starting lineup until Mike Conley (Achilles) returns, although the Grizzlies will have a decision to make once McCallum's second 10-day deal expires.

McCallum had nine points (3-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven assists, two steals, and one rebound in 25 minutes during the Grizzlies' 103-97 victory against the Suns on Monday.
McCallum dished out seven assists to only one turnover in his second straight start. He has seen a combined 60 minutes over the last two games while averaging 11.5 points, five assists, 1.5 rebounds, one steal, and one block. With Mike Conley (Achilles) out for at least a couple more weeks, McCallum seems likely to continue drawing starts at point guard.

Grizzlies' Ray McCallum: Provides 14 points in Saturday start
McCallum provided 14 points (6-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three assists and two rebounds over 35 minutes in Saturday's 113-102 victory over the Clippers.
Moving into the starting lineup for the first time in Memphis, the third-year veteran made solid contributions across the stat sheet. Although he played a secondary role on offense to Zach Randolph and Tony Allen, McCallum largely took advantage of his scoring opportunities to generate a season-high point total. With Briante Weber having struggled to provide much offense during his brief tenure with the first unit, McCallum may well be in line for additional starts after Saturday's performance.
