Ashley led the Ignite offensively by posting a new season high on a terrific shooting performance. The forward also finished just one rebound shy of accomplishing his first double-double. Across 13 games played in the G League, Ashley is averaging 10.6 points and 4.8 rebounds.

Ashley nearly finished with a season-opening double-double in this one, as the forward led the Ignite on the boards while managing double figures to cap off a superb outing. Ashley last played in the G League with Texas back in 2017-18 and averaged 16.2 points and 6.3 rebounds in 45 games played.

Suns' Brandon Ashley: Dealt to Suns
The Stockton Kings traded Brandon Ashley and a first-round pick in the 2019 G-League Draft to the Northern Arizona Suns for Hollis Thompson.
The Suns acquired the returning rights to Ashley, who failed to play during the 2018-19 season. He averaged 16.2 points, six rebounds and two assists over 45 regular-season games with Texas during the 2017-18 campaign.

Brandon Ashley: Traded for 2019 first-round pick
Ashley was traded to the Stockton Kings for a 2019 G League first-round pick.
Stockton acquired Ashley's returning rights, as the NBA G League All-Star selection in 2017 had not played this season. Ashley has yet to play a contest with Stockton, but is expected to join the rotation soon.

Ashley mustered 24 points (8-13 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, three assists and two steals during Wednesday's 117-105 home victory over the Mad Ants.
Ashley recovered superbly from his poor shooting performance four days earlier, and reached the 24-point mark for the fourth time this season. The 23-year-old from Arizona is averaging 15.8 points and 6.6 rebounds as he continues to play a major role in the Legends' offense.

The Arizona product lead all Legends' scorers while only shooting 38.9 percent from the field. Ashley is a consistent double-digit scorer night in and night out and is currently averaging a fine stat line with 15.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest during his second season in the G-League.

Brandon Ashley: Waived by Mavs
Ashley was waived Friday by the Mavericks, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.
Ashley signed a contract with the Mavericks in August after an impressive summer league with the team. Upon being waived, Ashley is most likely to play in the G-League or end up playing overseas for the second straight season.

Mavericks' Brandon Ashley: Starting Thursday vs. Hawks
Ashley will draw the start at small forward during Thursday's game against the Hawks, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.
With a myriad of frontcourt players getting the night off for rest, coach Rick Carlisle has opted to throw Ashley into the fire. Ashley was an undrafted rookie out of Arizona back in 2015 and was picked up by the Mavs in late July. He has yet to play in an NBA regular season game during his career, spending last year in Germany.

Mavericks' Brandon Ashley: Signed by Mavericks
Ashley agreed to a contract with the Mavericks on Thursday, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.
Ashley, a 6-foot-9 power forward, was a summer league standout for the Mavericks, posting 11.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game in Las Vegas. He has yet to see NBA minutes, as he spent the 2015-16 season in the D-League and the 2016-17 season in Germany.

Brandon Ashley: Waived by Dallas Saturday
Ashley was waived by the Mavericks Saturday.
The Rookie out of Arizona agreed to a partially-guaranteed contract with the Mavericks in July of 2015. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do enough in the preseason to earn a spot on Dallas' Opening night roster. He'll start the season in the D-League and try to showcase his talents to other teams.
