    Ashley was waived by the Mavericks Saturday.

    The Rookie out of Arizona agreed to a partially-guaranteed contract with the Mavericks in July of 2015. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do enough in the preseason to earn a spot on Dallas' Opening night roster. He'll start the season in the D-League and try to showcase his talents to other teams.
