Sergio Aguero will not rush a decision on his playing future after Spanish reports claimed that the 33-year-old Barcelona striker has been urged to retire by medical experts.
The Argentina international was found to have a heart arrhythmia which requires three months of treatment after being taken ill with chest pains during Barca's 1-1 draw with Alaves in late October.
Cardiology experts continue to monitor and treat Aguero, but Catalunya Radio reported on Friday that Aguero's problem is worse than feared and has seen the ex-Manchester City man advised to quite the game.

"Considering these rumors," wrote the player known as Kun via social media. "I say that I am following the recommendations of the club doctors, undergoing tests, and receiving treatment to monitor my progress in 90 days. Forever positive."
Aguero has started just twice for Barca since joining from City over the summer and was replaced by Philippe Coutinho after he suffered the chest pains against Alaves before tests required a 90-day absence from soccer.
Against Real Madrid in El Clasico, Aguero scored his first Barca goal in a 2-1 loss at Camp Nou and was on the pitch for the 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano which ultimately cost Ronald Koeman his job.
