With Lionel Messi now at PSG and Cristiano Ronaldo looking like he is on his way out of Juventus, the next in line to move may just be Kylian Mbappe. The PSG superstar attacker, who was expected to lead and attack alongside Messi and Neymar this season, could be on the verge of a sensational move to Real Madrid. After Real Madrid made an offer of €180 million (roughly $211 million), PSG agreed to open up talks with the Spanish giants, according to L'Equipe.
The report said that the two clubs were negotiating the move and that the most recent proposal, €20 million more than the first rejected one, had not been turned down.
Mbappe, largely viewed as the world's best player behind Messi and Ronaldo, is a World Cup-winning talent and likely a future Ballon d'Or winner. The 22-year-old Paris native has scored 133 goals in 174 games at PSG since arriving on loan in 2017. He rose to stardom during the 2016-17 season where he scored 26 goals in 44 games for AS Monaco, leading them to the Champions League semifinals.
