USMNT prodigy Christian Pulisic is in a fantastic scenario at Borussia Dortmund. The soon-to-be 18-year-old midfielder has seem more minutes than expected, has made an impact and is in a fine situation to develop. But his solid play early has peaked the interest of European clubs.

On Thursday, it was reported that Stoke City had made a massive bid for the Pennsylvania native.

But now, an even bigger club has come calling. According to Tony Barrett of The London Times, Liverpool made an offer for the winger.

Of course, there is a connection there. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was at Dortmund when they signed Pulisic in 2015. And it seems as if the German tactician fancies the player by now pursuing him this transfer window. Of course, that reported bid, per Barrett, seems like a more accurate, realistic bid than the Stoke City bid earlier in the week. It still remains to be seen if Dortmund would let him go. But for now, the growing interest in the player only raises his status and expectations.
