Cristiano Ronaldo must be excited about the NBA Playoffs. The Real Madrid man, with his team up 1-0 over Manchester City on Wednesday in their Champions League semifinal second leg, was right in front of the goal and about to score when he lifted up and grabbed the ball with both of his hands as if he were going to slam it home. Now, it appears that Ronaldo knew he was offsides, so he just ended the play early with his hand. Still though, you have to play until the ref blows the whistle, because blown calls are a regular occurrence in the sport. Had he been on, it is a yellow card.
No hand of God 2.0 here. Maradona > Ronaldo in this instance.
