Barcelona could take a giant chunk out of Luis Suarez’s salary should the suspended striker ever try to bite another opponent. The club could cut his $10 million pound-per-year salary by up to $3 million pounds should he attempt to bite anyone following his suspension, according to The Mirror.

The Uruguayan star is currently serving a four-month suspension after he bit Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup  -- the third biting incident of his career. Liverpool, unwilling to deal with Suarez, agreed to a transfer with the Spanish club this past Friday in a five-year-deal worth between $61 or $75 million pounds. Neither club has disclosed the exact amount.

He’ll suit up alongside Neymar and Lionel Messi to form an unparalleled attacking trio after he serves his suspension, which will see him miss 18 games, officially. The club is planning to appeal Suarez’s suspension to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which could potentially overrule FIFA’s decision.

Until then, Barcelona isn’t even allowed to publicly introduce their new star, per FIFA’s ban. “The ban relates to all football-related activity. He cannot be in a football-related public event irrespective of the venue. He cannot even be involved in a football-related charity event,” according to FIFA’s media director.
