Australian Open 2022: Nick Kyrgios has a sip of fan's beer after first-round victory
Kyrgios enjoyed a cold one after the victory in straight sets

Highlights from tennis star Nick Kyrgios' first round match at the Australian Open do not just include his play on the court. After his victory over Liam Broady in straight sets, Kyrgois decided to celebrate properly.
Kyrgois went over to the stands and a fan put a beer near him, as if to offer it to the star. That is an offer most athletes would turn down, but the 26-year-old decided to take the fan up on his gift after the first-round win.

Kyrgois did appear to debate whether or not he should take a sip, but the fan encouraged the act enough to convince the tennis player.
The crowd obviously loved it and wanted Kyrgois to keep drinking.
He also got the crowd going when he yelled "I'm back," and when he served through the legs.
Kyrgois advances with the win and will face Daniil Medvedev next.
The Australian Open is the first Grand Slam of the year. It kicked off Jan. 9., but due to the country's vaccination protocols, world's men's No. 1 tennis Novak Djokovic is not able to participate.
