I went to bed on Sunday night thinking this was the craziest thing I'd see in the soccer world this week.
I was wrong.
After that wild brawl in Brazil, it turns out the country had another surprise for us - a player beating up a ballboy because he was celebrating. In a match between Operario and Comercial, a player for Operario went after the ballboy after he was celebrating and went on to hit him numerous times in the face. The video is below, and be advised that the video may be distrubing for some.
My goodness, what is the world coming to? This boy ballboy (maybe ballman?) was on the end of a beating that has no place in this world, let alone on a soccer field. Here's hoping the abuser never gets to play at that level again.
